The price of fine art
I've been painting a lot lately. As I write now I have two paintings in a group art show in Fullerton, and another one has been published in a somewhat prestigious cultural thing.
I am working on two oil paintings at home now. My goal is to finish both by next Tursday.
And then after that, I'll get four paintings framed for a very special event.
If anyone knows where in the general Los Angeles/Orange County/San Bernardino county that I can get quality custome frames for cheaper, please let me know!!! I'd really appreciate it. Cost of framing art work is high I tell ya.
In general, I am really busy these days, but everyday is filled with lots of joy.
I'll have lots to announce and lots of painting talk to write about on wakinghour.net after this weekend.

I think of the framing places I've used (very little), this place in Westminster (close to Lil Saigon) was very good and reasonable: http://www.yelp.com/biz/artistic-gallery-westminster. It was recommended to me, and I was pleased with their work and pricing. They also used to cut me a deal if I paid cash, so definitely ask for that if you're interested. Whew, this is a long comment!
Hello Stephanie!
Thanks for the info, I'll definitely go check out the place in Westminister.
I've never framed my work before either, and I always use gallery-edge canvases as well and just put a wire behind it for haning, but this time around I need to frame four paintings for my parents house for a very special event.
When's your next exhibition? I am sorry that I missed your last one. :( Been a little too busy lately...
